Eric was very happy with wis win. Afterwards, he called Prof.
Garrison to tell him the good news. He picked up the reciever and
dialed Prof. Garrison's lab. "Hello, oh Eric! You made it to
Pewter City already? It takes most people 3 days to get
there!" Garrison said. "Well, I some...special
help," Eric said. "Well, I'm ecstatic. You're so far
ahead of all the other trainers..." Garrison said. "And
you have...how many Pokémon?" Garrison asked. Eric
said,"I have 5 Pokémon, Prof. Garrison, what is does that
machine ball that you gave me do?" Eric asked, "It's
purpose is to catch caertain kinds of Pokémon called, High
Density Pokémon," Prof. Garrison said, "High density
Pokémon are Pokémon with high atomic density, meaning that
their atoms are closer together than most Pokémon. You see,
Pokémon can be caught in a Pokéball because their atoms are
spaced farther apart than other matter. A Pokéball pushes those
atoms closer together causing the Pokémon to shrink. High
Density Pokémon are Pokémon whose atoms are closer together.
The machine ball has to work harder to shrink the Pokémon
because there is less space between the atoms. The machin ball
actually presses the elecrtons in an atom closer together to make
the Pokémon fit in the machine ball. Oh, by the way, have you
seen my grandson, Larry there?" Garrison said. "Yes, I
had a battle with him," Eric said."You did?! Did you
win?"Garrison asked. "Yes, I won" Eric answered.
"Oh, that's fantastic! Oh, what was I going to say...oh yes!
I need you to stay away from him!" Garrison said.
"Why?" Eric asked.
"Because he stole my prized collection of Pokémon and
joined Team Rocket! Surely you've noticed that an idiot like him
couldn't catch an Exeggcutioner!" Garrison said, with a
worried tone in his voice. "Well, I never really thought of
that," Eric said. "Normally I would tell you to stay
away from him, but I need you to get my Pokémon back!"
Garrison pleaded. "Okay, I'll try, but I can't promise I'll
be able to beat Larry again. Mewfive is still tired from his
Metronome attack and..." Eric tried to say. "WHAT!? A
Mewfive?! Metronome?! How in the heck did you manage that?!"
Garrison yelled so loud that he lost his voice. "Well,
y'see..."."Oh, do please tell!" Garrison said in a
childish tone. "Okay, I disobeyed your orders and went to
Viridian City..."Eric said, knowing that he was in soooooo
much trouble.
"YOU WHAT?!" Garrison yelled. "I know you're mad,
but listen. I met Team Rocket and defeated them...".
"YOU WHAT?!" Garrison yelled. "They forgot to take
thier motor cycle with them and I took it. I ran out of gas and
looked inside the motor cycle compartments and found a Mewthree,
a Mewfour, and a Mewfive. The Mewfour, somehow managed to speed
the motor cycle..." Eric said."That's... not good. I
don't want you to go off on dangerous adventures like that! Why,
when you were young, you were an especially bright boy. But we
always had to discipline you for your skylarkings every now and
then," Garrison lectured. "What's skylarkings?"
Eric asked. Garrison said,"You know, like Tomfoolerys,"
"Who?" Eric answered. "Nevermind, the point is, is
that your a mature young man now. I need you to at least listen
to me sometimes...I'm sorry if I have to lay these rules out for
you, but I don't want you getting killed or anything."
Garrison said. "I understand,"
"Okay then, go find my Grandson. I need those
Pokémon!"Garrison said. "Don't worry, I'll get them
back!" Eric said. Eric hung up the phone and started on his
mission to find Larry. As he was pushing through thick crowds, he
saw a shirt with a big red "R" on it. Team Rocket...
Eric thought to himself. As he approached it, he saw the face
of...the insane guy. He grabbed him by the shirt and
said,"Where are the other members?"."Members of
what?" he said in a dopey voice."Members of Team
Rocket, you moron!" Eric said, trying to sound tough to
break the insane guy's spirit. "Oh, I don't know, you see I
was kicked out of Team Rocket today," the insane guy said.
"Do you know where they are?" Eric asked. "I have
no idea." the insane guy replied.
"Dang!" Eric said. "Uh, sir, you have three things
of mine that I hope you wouldn't mind giving back." the
insane guy said. Eric paused. He knew that he had stolen three of
their Pokémon. "But, I found them..." Eric said.
"But they are mine!" the insane guy said and started
sobbing. "I'll pay you handsomly for them..." the
insane guy said. "These are worth more than money!"
Eric said (he realized at this time that he was starting to sound
cruel). "I'll give you these..." the insane guy said as
he pulled out several small books. Each was top secret
documentation on Team Rocket. Eric said nothing. Many of the
world's greatest spies died trying to recieve these files. But
was it worth trading for the Pokémon? If he sold these to the
FBI, he would be the richest person of his age... But is it more
important than three powerful Pokémon. "It's a deal!"
Eric said. He handed him the three Pokéballs as the insane guy
gave him the books. Eric felt a little bad about the trade, but
he did steal the Pokémon. Besides, this guy wasn't bad anyway.
They chatted a little after the trade. The insane guy (who Eric
learned his name was Judohan) told him that he was to be Team
Rocket's new president (because he was a decendant of Giovanni)
but he was dethroned for accidentally destroying Rocket H.Q.
Suddenly, the building rumbled. A voice could be heard coming out
of the speaker phone. "We've taken this building hostage!
Don't panic, please. The elevators have been turned off, and the
front doors locked. You will be given further instruction
afterwards," it was Jones of Team Rocket. Quickly, as if an
instinct, Eric ran to the front desk and asked,"Where could
that announcement be coming from?"."Hold on let me
check," she said as she picked up a walkie talkie.
"Security, are you at your post?" she said.
"No...we.....kay....that jam.....must... .......coming...the
roof but we......there." the voice on the walkie talkie
said. "Security, you're breaking up," the woman said.
"All......to the roof.......blocked." he said. "He
says that the jamming is coming from the roof, and all access to
the roof has been blocked."the woman said. Eric ran up the
flight of stairs. He then realized he could never make it up the
stairs. Eventually the altitude would drain his strength. He went
back into the entrance room.
He saw a door marked "Garage". He ran in and saw a vast
room filled with vehicles. He saw a police officer. "Miss, I
need to borrow a motor cycle!" Eric asked. "Why would I
do that?! Oh, if you're thinking of smashing through the windows,
think again. We're surrounded by a psychic field that won't let
anyone get in or get out," she said. "I need a motor
cycle to get to the top floor." Eric said. "Go ahead,
but don't expect to be able to do anything," she said. Eric
was pretty surprised how easily he convinced her to lend him a
motor cycle. I've heard that psychic power fields can disrupt
people's thinking. That's probably how I got the bike so easy
he thought to himself.
He drove the bike into the entrance room and went up the stairs.
The stairs were empty. He drove the machine up and up and up. He
looked up and saw an endless staircase above. After about ten
minutes of driving, He could see the roof above him. He was close
to the roof now. Soon, he saw a hole in the steps. He turned off
the motor cycle and walked up ahead. Team Rocket blew a piece out
of the staircase. He didn't want to risk jumping because it was a
looooooong way down. "Dang! How will I get across..."
Eric said. He looked around. He saw a ventilation duct. He jumped
inside and crawled into it. The duct led upwards. When he had
crawled far enough, he got out. He had crossed the hole. He
continued walking upwards. When he got to the top, he was very
tired. He kicked open the door and saw Team Rocket, Jones,
Julius, and the new recruit, Larry. They were standing in front
of to the Rocket Plane, a humunguos jet that Team Rocket members
used.
"WHAT THE HECK?! How did you get past our barracade?!"
Julius shouted. "The ventilation duct," Eric said,
feeling proud of himself. "The ventilation duct? Oh that's
right, I forgot about that," Jones said, feeling terrible.
"Excuse me, but aren't we supposed so say the Team Rocket
slogan now?" Larry reminded them. "Awwww....do we have
to?" Julius said.
"To further the world towards devastation!" Jones said
"To destroy all people within our nation!",Julius said.
"To kill the evils of truth and love!"Larry said.
"To extend our reach to the stars above"they
said together(as they said this, they pointed at themselves).
"Jones!" the tallest one said "Julius!" the
middle tallest said "Larry!!!" the shortest one said.
They began to shout together,"We are Team Rocket! Do not
cry! 'Cause if you do you will die!".
Fireworks appeared in the sky as they finished.
"Now, leave! You can't hope to beat us! We have better
Pokémon than you do!" Jones said. It was true, Eric only
had Samantha and Psycho. God, it's Eric! I need your help!
Eric thought to himself. As if it was an answer, Judohan appeared
behind him. "Taa daa! I made it!" Judohan said. The
three Team Rocket members were shocked. "How did he get
through the vents?" Julius said. "Yeah, he's fatter
than a Snorlax!" Jones said. Team Rocket laughed at the
joke. "I had some help from a Fearow!" Judohan said.
"Oh, I hadn't thought of that either..." Jones said.
"Well, for once you did something smart, Judohan!"
Jones said. "Yeah, it's a miracle!" Larry said.
"Hey! Leave me alone!" Judohan said. "Why should
we? You were the one who microwaved a Pokéball, causing an
explosion that destroyed our Headquarters!" Julius said.
"Hey! He was cold and I couldn't think of any other way to
warm him up," Judohan said. "Talk is cheap, let's
fight!" Larry said.
Will Eric and Judohan defeat Team Rocket? Find out next time, in
the next episode of The Adventures of Eric Ketchum!
