Dr. What here. I burnt the midnight oil on this one. I hope you enjoy it. Once more any characters who I did not create, and you know you I mean, plus all pokemon used here, is property of their respected owners. Just having some fun here. Also I WILL NOT recap the story line as to this point. Thus read parts one to four if you haven’t. Sorry for all of you who skipped ahead, but recapping the story is a waste of my time. So now without further ado, onward to the story.
Pokemon Journey
Part V: Blasting Off Again
"Charmander, Flame Thrower." JJ called to the fire pokemon.
JJ and Lisa had just left Pewter City when they encountered a wild Bulbasaur. Charmander took his aim, and toss flames right at the grass pokemon. Bulbasaur was quickly fried. JJ had moved Weedle over to storage to make room for Bulbasaur. Now it was JJ’s turn in battle as he took out an empty poke ball.
"Poke Ball, Go!" JJ called as he tossed the ball at Bulbasaur. Once inside it the grass pokemon had no chance of escape as the chime completed the capture.
"ALL RIGHT!!! BULBASAUR IS MINE!!!" Soon Lisa stood beside him as Charmander carried the ball over to it’s trainer.
"Thanks Charmander." JJ said taking the poke ball.
"Char, Charm."
"Charmander return." In a flash the fire pokemon was in it’s poke ball.
"Well then," Lisa began.
"Let’s get to Mt. Moon." JJ nodded as the pair turned to walk the road.
As the two children walked towards Mt. Moon a trio looked at them though a bush. One women, One man, and a cat like pokemon.
"Look at those children." The women said.
"Feeling safe, but now…" she trailed off letting the man finish.
"But now Team Rocket is refueled and ready to go again."
"Ahh, quit it you two." The pokemon said.
"We got work to do. We got to get to Small Pond pronto. We got plenty of pokemon to steal, and that place has got to have a few gems."
"Right lets go." The women said as the three sneaked out of the bush.
JJ and Lisa had run in to a small town called Small Pond. It had a Poke Center, but no local gyms. But they had to rest here before going into Mt. Moon. JJ stocked up on Poke Balls, Antidotes, and Potions, while Lisa just hung around the center. JJ soon came in to have Bulbasaur healed and sat next to Lisa. Soon Nurse Joy had returned Bulbasaur to JJ, and everything was nice and quiet. A nice little break. Until two Poke Balls crashed trough the glass part of the roof. One unveiled a snake like pokemon, the other released a floating pokemon that looked very unusual.
"What are those?" Lisa asked standing up in a ready position. JJ also stood up and took out the Pokedex and pointed it at the snake pokemon.
"Arbok. A snake pokemon of the poison
class. This evolved form of Ekans uses powerful poison
bites." JJ then turned to the floating pokemon.
"Weezing. A poison pokemon. This evolved form of Koffing
uses several poison gases."
"But whose pokemon are they?" JJ said as the Weezing flew around releasing a Smoke Screen.
What is Magikarp’s first attack called, and what does it do?
As the pair coughed the smoke out of their lungs, the smoke began to dissipate and they saw two figures standing across from them.
"Who are they?" Lisa asked.
"Permit us to introduce ourselves." A male voice said, then a female voice began to speak.
"Prepare for trouble,"
"Better make it double." The man continued as the two took turns.
"To protect the world from deviation,"
"To unite all peoples within our nation."
"To denounce the evils of truth and love,"
"To extend our reach to the stars above."
"Jessie."
"James."
"Team Rocket, Blast off at the speed of light."
"Surrender now or prepare to fight." Then the cat pokemon leapt in.
"Meowth, that’s right." JJ and
Lisa just looked at them.
"That was…." Lisa began, not letting the last word out.
"Boring." JJ finished for her. Team Rocket just sighed.
"The motto needs work, a new motto for the renewed Team Rocket." James said.
"Oh, quit it. The motto’s fine." Jessie countered.
"What’s going on here?" Nurse Joy said as she stepped beside JJ and Lisa.
"We’re here for your pokemon, that’s what." Meowth explained.
"Team Rocket!!! The roomers were true," Nurse Joy said astonished.
"Team Rocket reassembled!"
"Well then, now that we confirmed that, hand over the pokemon." Jessie shouted.
" Not if I have a say in this." JJ shouted reaching for a poke ball.
"Oh really? Lets see what you’ve got." James challenged. JJ took careful consideration and picked his pokemon.
"Go, Pikachu!" In only a second the Pikachu appeared.
"Weezing, Go get it." James called.
"Pikachu Thunder Shock." Before Weezing could close in Pikachu shocked him into paralysis.
"Weezing return!" James said as he pulled Weezing from battle.
"Get ready Arbok." Jessie called as Arbok slithered in front of her. Before JJ made a command he had an idea.
"Pikachu return." He said as Pikachu was pulled from battle. It was a crazy idea. So crazy it might work.
"Go, Metapod!" Soon the immobile pokemon was out in battle. Jessie chuckled at the stupid maneuver.
"Arbok, Bite that worthless pokemon."
"Metapod, Harden!" Soon the Metapod glowed and it’s outer shell was shiny and hard. Arbok took a bite and held it. When he let go, Arbok’s teeth were shattered and fell to the floor.
"BOOOOKKKKKK!!!!" It yelled as it ran around running into a wall near a door very hard.
"Arbok, Return!" Jessie called.
That was a very embarrassing defeat. A small bump was heard as poke ball rolled towards the Rockets, most likely being jarred lose after the impact. It opened to place right in front of the rockets………
"A VOLTORB!!!" The trio said as it began to spark. This was just not their day.
"Voltorb." It said as it blowed up launching Team Rocket right out of the town. The last words heard from them were….
"Team Rocket is blasting off again."
"Metapod, return!" JJ called as the victorious pokemon entered it’s poke ball.
"I thought Team Rocket had disbanded." Lisa said.
"More likely just biding their time." Joy added.
"Guess my journey just got tougher." JJ said.
Now JJ has new enemies in Team Rocket. It’s More than likely they will meet again. But When?
